Anderson Maguire Foundation Programme Support Local School
St Fillan’s Primary School in the south side of Glasgow is the latest beneficiary of the Anderson Maguire Foundation Programme, established to help fund initiatives in local communities throughout Glasgow. The school is currently constructing “The Nest”, a soft space room which will be used for learning and teaching, sensory activities and social and emotional programmes.
Paul Coleman, Chairman of St Fillan’s Primary Parent Council, said:
“We have been very proactive in creating a school which not only delivers excellent teaching but also looks at the needs of children from an holistic perspective. “The Nest” will be of great benefit to children and teachers alike, providing a space of sanctuary and respite out with the learning environment.
Managing Director of Anderson Maguire Funeral Directors, Paul Webb, commented:
“The Anderson Maguire Foundation programme has been instrumental in helping numerous community programmes come to fruition. We are very conscious as a service provider that it is the communities in which we work who come to us at their hour of need and we are delighted to be able to reciprocate when possible.”
